How to Enroll
Step 1 - Make Preparations
- Visit the program and meet with the instructor during one of the scheduled orientations. (see orientation page)
- See an advisor for more career and program information. Advising/Counseling Center is located on the main campus in building 17.
- Organize your financial resources and/or apply for financial aid.
Step 2 - Apply for Admission
- Apply for admission into the culinary arts or restaurant operations program and pay the appropriate fees. This can be done in the Counseling/Advising Office or in Student Records located in building 17.
- Students who have applied for admissions will be given the opportunity to register one week before open registration.
- Running Start students should contact our Running Start counselor to get the required paper work.
Step 3 - Take a Placement Assessment
- An assessment or COMPASS test is a computerized test used to help place students in the appropriate general education classes required for a Culinary Arts Certificate or Degree.
- Your advisor will tell you if you need to take this assessment.
- No appointment is necessary. You must have a picture ID and pay a fee.
Step 4 - Register and Pay Tuition
- New students may register in person or mail by completing the registration form and returning it to the registration office.
- Pay tuition and fees at the cashiers office located in building 17, room 102.
